It is my absolute pleasure to take this opportunity to write to you on behalf of your extended family at your luxurious second home, The Sanchaya. We trust this latest edition of The Chronicle finds all well with you.
Following a remarkable debut year that saw the estate clinch a host of the hospitality industry's most coveted accolades, we continue to focus on enhancing The Sanchaya experience that has generated excellent feedback from our guests, whom we affectionately refer to as our residents.
In this edition of The Chronicle, we will introduce you to our new Detox at The Sanchaya package, featuring nutritious soups and smoothies, detoxifying body massages and private yoga sessions by the South China Sea to provide the ultimate restorative holiday. You will meet our industrious new Sommelier and Beverage Manager Stanley Chang, who boasts a long list of achievements including the Sake Service Institute (SSI) International's 'Best Kikisake-Shi (Sake Sommelier)' in his native South Korea for 2012. We also invite you to read more about an innovative events series called Pala that has attracted Hollywood stars to The Sanchaya, Bintan Island's inaugural Ironman Race, The Collection Boutique's Summer Sale and our elegant Bar Box service.
On a final note, we are thrilled with our high percentage of repeat residents. If you wish to stay at your second home, the luxurious home of a friend, to relax by the infinity pool, in a cabana on the beach, or at other cozy venues throughout the estate, we would be delighted to take extra special care of you.
