The Sanchaya Grows its Own Vegetables and Herbs

Chili. Lettuce. Basil. Coriander. Dill. Corn. Eggplant. Bitter melon. Tomatoes. Mangoes. Rambutan. And more. A broad spectrum of vegetables and herbs is growing by the day right onsite.

Strolling past the gym and croquet lawn, you cannot miss the newest addition to our 9.6-hectare estate - our sprawling herbs and vegetable garden.

Tended to by our proud green thumb Chef Lambok and his dedicated team, the garden is not only looking lush; we are already picking organic herbs and vegetables being used in our recipes on offer at The Dining Room, Tasanee Grill and our 24-hour in-villa dining service.

Our herbs and vegetable patch is yet another way The Sanchaya strives to be a socially responsible property. Did you know that The Sanchaya also purifies and bottles its own still and sparkling water right on the estate? The specialized mineralization procedure involved results in safe, pure and healthy water. The bottles are fully recyclable, saving up to 80,000 plastic bottles a year.
